Folkdancing gives me another family. This is a welcoming place to be and gives so much joy. - Cheryl If
you're looking for family, come
folk
dancing! At folk dancing, I dance, meet new people, participate in something for years and years, thus becoming someone to someone else. - Jerry I get to experience other cultures through dance which gives me a better understanding. - Wayne It's
great to be part of this loosely
organized, spontaneous, and fun group. I love seeing young kids
and grandmas dancing to the same music. I've learned dances from
a variety of countries, each one offering something special. It
is great to hear and dance to the music
of other countries. Even when you don't know the language, dance
is a universal language. All is peaceful and good when dancing.
All can share and have fun. I would never have heard such
wonderful music if it weren't for folk dancing. It's
fun! Good, healthy exercise, and
great people! How can you miss? |
